Founding Partner & Architect
Tanguy Avanthay
Graduated from the École Spéciale d’Architecture in Paris in 2020, Tanguy gained experience at Bruneau Ghezzi Architectes in St. Barthélemy, contributing to residential and hospitality projects within a demanding Caribbean context. His background has given him a strong understanding of tropical climates, local construction constraints, and resilient architectural design, before co-founding AC Studio in the Dominican Republic.

Julien Chalançon
After graduating from the École Spéciale d’Architecture in Paris in 2020, Julien spent three years at Atelier Frank Salama, contributing to residential and hospitality projects across multiple scales. This experience shaped a design approach driven by sensitive architectural thinking and a strong attention to human experience, before co-founding AC Studio in the Dominican Republic.

Starting from the client’s program and local planning constraints, we design residential, hospitality, and commercial spaces through a contextual and climate-responsive approach.
Technical & Administrative Coordination
Preparation of technical documentation, construction drawings, permitting processes, and coordination with consultants and local authorities.
Construction Supervision
Site follow-up and coordination throughout the construction process to ensure quality, consistency, and respect for the architectural vision.
