BW CABIN II

BW CABIN II is an off-grid tropical bungalow conceived as a small autonomous structure rooted in the landscape. The project is organized around two earth-toned concrete volumes that emerge from the ground and contain the service spaces, while a lighter suspended central volume hosts the bedroom.

This contrast between mass and lightness responds to the tropical climate: the heavier elements anchor the cabin and provide durability, while the lightweight sleeping space reduces thermal inertia and improves nighttime comfort. Local craftsmanship, natural ventilation, shaded outdoor living and a simple autonomous infrastructure define a compact architecture designed for immersion, resilience and quiet connection with its surroundings.
