Theodore Chassériau Kindergarten is a tropical learning environment organized around a shaded and planted central courtyard. Conceived as an extension of the classrooms, this open-air heart offers children a protected setting for play, movement and everyday discovery, while encouraging natural ventilation and a continuous connection with the surrounding landscape.

Exposed concrete, timber and traditional cana roofing are softened by a palette of pastel colors, giving the school a gentle and welcoming identity. Covered walkways, playful architectural elements and naturally lit classrooms create a calm educational atmosphere where light, materiality and vegetation support comfort, curiosity and collective life.
